Erika + Mike, the recipients of The Wedding Pink - 2014
The Wedding Pink is an annual, heartfelt wedding giveaway package presented to a couple whose lives have been recently touched by breast cancer. Cheryl Ungar, the founder of The Wedding Pink, is a 23-year breast cancer survivor and a professional photographer. In addition to Cheryl donating her own wedding photography services, she has put together an extraordinary team of some of Colorado's top wedding vendors -- all of whom have generously agreed to donate their services and products to ensure The Wedding Pink is a spectacular event for one very special couple.
The Wedding Pink will be held in a different Colorado town each year; however, as long as you meet our submission criteria you may live anywhere in the country and submit your story. This is an opportunity for one deserving couple to be awarded a dream wedding nearly cost free and valued at over $40,000.
We are thrilled to partner with the Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver and Cloud 9 Weddings for the 5th annual Wedding Pink to be held on May 15, 2015. We have selected Tiffanie and Steven as the recipients and you may read their story here.
In early 2015 we launched Pink Vignettes which are random acts of kindness given to people whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. If we hear about a touching story involving amazing people, we will offer them assistance as we deem necessary. We look forward to sharing our first Pink Vignette recipients with you.
In the spirit of passing it on from one survivor to another, Robin Roberts was kind enough to send a video message to Roxanne and Joseph, the recipients of The Wedding Pink - 2012. You can imagine the surprise, delight and gratitude they felt when this video was played during the reception.
Please take a moment to view the video and share in what they experienced.
